Ingredients
  

Croissants
  • 8 large croissants Cut into bite-sized pieces.
  • 8 ounces cream cheese Softened.
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries Can use frozen, thawed.
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • powdered sugar For dusting, optional.

Method
 

  1. Cut croissants into bite-sized pieces and place in a greased baking dish.
  2. Beat cream cheese until smooth, then add eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt. Whisk until combined.
  3. Scatter blueberries over croissant pieces, then pour cream cheese mixture over everything.
  4. Cover with foil and let sit for 15 minutes. Preheat oven to 350°F. Bake covered for 30 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving. Dust with powdered sugar if desired.
